Breakfast Recipe to Start a Healthy Day. Watch Out.

My mother often says that morning breakfast should be done like a king. Choose a  nutritious breakfast recipe the most. But, alas, our morning goes like this – It’s 8 AM, oh my god! I need to take bath, dress up and with minor snack, run for the office. In this messed up situation, getting essential nutrients looks like a dream. But wait a minute.

Today I am sharing breakfast recipe to give you a nutritious start.

1 Quinoa Fruit Salad

Add some quinoa in a fruit cup. Toss it to evenly distribute Quinoa. Then add lime, honey and basil in a garnishing manner. Your salad is ready.

2 Banana Smoothie with Peanut Butter

A promising snack and health friendly – that’s what smoothies are. Blend the mixture of frozen bananas, peanut, soy milk, Greek yoghurt, honey with few ice cubes. Keep it in a tight sealed container if used as a morning snack and carry in a work/gym bag. You can prepare it a night before and freeze. Next morning you will get a ready to enjoy breakfast recipe. Adding a scoop of chocolate or vanilla protein gives an extra boost.

3 Chocolate Peanut Butter Granola Apple Bites

Cut the apple into wedges, scooping nut butter onto each slice. Sprinkling cinnamon and oats/granola with bits of melted chocolate on top. You can wrap the apple slices in foil to save for later use.

4 Blueberry Almond Overnight Oats

6 Ham and Cheese Quinoa Cups

In a medium bowl, add two cups of cooked quinoa, 2 eggs, 1 cup of your favourite veggies (preferably spinach or zucchini), 1 cup of shredded cheese and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Place into a lightly greased mini muffin tin, and cook at 350 degrees for about 15-20 minutes. Your breakfast recipe ready to eat.

7 Banana Zucchini Oatmeal Cups

This breakfast recipe can help in turning classic baked loaf into an adorable oatmeal cup. Adding shredded zucchini is a best fit for extra serving of veggies. Make these in advance, keep in the fridge and consume them later.

8 Southwest Tofu Scramble

Having some leftover tofu and veggies (like peppers and kale), combine the ingredients in a pan. Scramble in eggs and some potatoes for a good taste.
